MYS Blue Stripes 5 - 7 MYS Black Stripes
The opening fixture saw both 2000 teams facing each other for the first time in a 7 a side format.
The game started off well with the Blue Stripes opening up a two goal lead but the blacks came back into the game with two quick goals. Both teams where in an attacking mood and the goals continued as the first half closed at 4 - 4
The Blues where feeling the pace early in the second half and quickly lost three goals which didn't really reflect on how the game was going. The blues pulled one back with five minutes to go and continued to put the pressure on and they hit the bar and then had a shot cleared off the line, but could not improve the scoreline.
Final Score: 5 - 7
